These are some of my favorite kitchen tips/hacks.
Removing Sausage Casing
Using the tip of your knife, make a shallow slit along the length of the sausage, then peel away and discard the casing.
Regrowing Green Onions
Put the ends of used green onions with the roots in a small glass or vase with a little bit of water. Put a rubber band around all of the ends so they can stand upright. Fresh green onions will regrow from this.

Clean Up Early
Clean dishes and cooking utensils during the cooking process. This will allow you to be productive early on, and leave less dishes to clean after you’re done eating. After eating a delicious homemade meal, you deserve to relax!
